The Unofficial Mascot of St. John’s College

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the College’s lab assistants and Axolotl keeper, Ms. Hill. The Axolotl is a fascinating and hysterical little animal; possessing remarkable characteristics and abilities that make it stand out in the animal kingdom. St. John’s student’s have taken it upon themselves to use this animal to define them as a mascot. You will notice that it is a very apt mascot.

Our other unofficial mascot is the platypus. Its looks like a mix-match of different animals, part beaver, part duck and part spiny reptile. All this is to say, we have an interesting image of ourselves.
