I’m back in Santa Fe after a wonderful Seattle “winter” break. There was no epic road trip back to campus like last year, but it’s nice to be here nonetheless.
Many of my friends are now in the writing period for their Senior papers. It’s a little bit funny to have to remind myself that they don’t have class during the day, or more often, that I do. I think I’ll have to prepare myself for many conversations like this one over the next four weeks:
That said, being in class is pretty awesome right now. In Language we’re starting to read Phèdre in French; we just discovered electrical resistance with Ohm (!) and are now beginning Faraday’s Experimental Researches in Electricity in Lab; and in Math Newton is still crazy. Gulliver’s Travels in Seminar—where to even begin?
