Here in Santa Fe, we’re blessed with a gorgeous blue sky nearly every day. Which of course, naturally prompts the question, Why is the sky blue? A lot of people think they know the answer to that question. But this explanation will guide you through the real reasons. Everywhere we look, we can find insight in even the smallest of things. See, it’s all about asking the right questions, including questions that seem so basic. And as any Johnnie knows, every question has not so much an answer as a bevy of (potentially more interesting) follow-up questions (such as why isn’t the sky purple? (The answer to which involves integrals and some color mixing theory… (the rabbit hole is endless (just like these parenthetical expressions)))).
