Sunday morning greeted us with a gentle dusting of snow. For the first time this year, it felt like winter.
I’m lucky enough to live in the brand-new Winiarski Dorms, where we have our own common room and fireplace. For most of Sunday, I cozied up with a cup of tea in a chair next to the fire, reading Aristotle and working on an Oedipus Tyrannus paper for language. It reminded me why winter is one of my favorite times at St. John’s – there’s nothing like bundling up with a good book and some good friends and watching the snow fall.
